TL;DR
BIM Coordinator (ELV) (BIM/digital construction): Developing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models for ICT, ELV, AV, security, and smart systems in UAE construction projects with an accent on Revit-based coordination, BIM standards, and information management. Focus on clash detection, model quality assurance, constructability analysis, asset information, and coordinated project handover.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite construction project role

What you will do
- Implement BIM standards, information management workflows, BIM Execution Plans, and digital delivery processes for ELV systems.
- Develop, coordinate, maintain, and publish BIM models for ICT, ELV, AV, security, and smart systems.
- Create and manage Revit families, templates, and BIM content libraries.
- Lead clash detection, issue tracking, coordination meetings, RFI support, and multidisciplinary model coordination.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams on construction methodologies and installation sequences.
- Produce BIM reports, quantity take-offs, asset information, as-built models, and handover documentation while supporting model quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of BIM coordination experience in construction projects, with strong ELV and/or MEP exposure.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and BIM coordination platforms.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, BEPs, ISO 19650, Common Data Environments, and information management principles.
- Experience with multidisciplinary coordination, clash detection, BIM deliverables, quantity take-offs, reports, and asset information.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, independent working, and Microsoft Office skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Revizto, Synchro, or other 4D planning and coordination platforms.
- Experience developing BIM content libraries and templates.
- Experience coaching or mentoring junior BIM professionals.
