SAP Finance Consultant (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Analyze, design, configure, implement, and support SAP Finance solutions for hospitals, health systems, clinics, and other healthcare entities.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP FI/CO, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, banking, cost and profit centers, internal orders, closing, and reporting.
• Integrate SAP Finance with clinical, billing, patient accounting, revenue-cycle, supply chain, procurement, payroll, and other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Gather business requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and coordinate with technical teams on reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.
• Conduct unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support financial close, data migration, reconciliation, documentation, training, implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and process automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of SAP Finance experience, preferably in consulting or large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration and support experience, plus solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
• Experience integrating SAP with MM, SD, HR/HCM, Supply Chain, or other functional areas.
• Experience with SAP implementations, enhancements, upgrades, production support, testing, and stakeholder requirements gathering.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare organizations, hospitals, health systems, or medical centers.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP Fiori, and modern SAP reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle, patient financial processes, EMR/EHR integrations, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with SAP migration, data conversion, reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
• SAP Finance certification.
