SAP Data Migration Consultant (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and execute SAP data migration strategies for S/4HANA implementations, including conversion and greenfield scenarios.
• Extract, transform, cleanse, enrich, validate, and reconcile master and transactional data from legacy systems.
• Configure SAP LTMC, including custom migration objects, and implement SAP SLT replication scenarios with transformation rules and filters.
• Manage logical systems, replication configurations, system refreshes, and landscape virtualization using SAP LVM.
• Support mock migrations, dress rehearsals, final cutover, rollback planning, and runbook execution.
• Optimize high-volume data loads and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration references, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least five years of SAP data migration experience; the position listing also specifies 12+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP LTMC, S/4HANA migration tools, SAP SLT, and SAP LVM.
• Strong understanding of SAP master and transactional data structures, data validation, reconciliation, SQL, and data analysis.
• Experience working in enterprise SAP landscapes during major implementations, with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA greenfield or brownfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP Data Services or other ETL platforms.
