DevOps Engineer (Mid)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch, and maintain secure DevSecOps infrastructure, operating systems, libraries, components, and dependencies.
• Develop Python applications, scripts, and utility programs supporting cybersecurity, automation, and operational requirements.
• Administer Linux servers and infrastructure, and implement Kubernetes, Ansible, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
• Deploy and configure infrastructure and services, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service environments, and troubleshoot cluster and interoperability issues.
• Install and manage monitoring and observability tools, including Splunk and related analytics platforms.
• Work in Agile DevSecOps teams using Scrum or Kanban, supporting backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance required.
• Professional experience administering Linux-based environments and supporting cybersecurity infrastructure, hardware, and software.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Splunk, Git/GitHub, Kubernetes and/or Ansible, infrastructure deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/DevSecOps environment.

Nice to have

• RHCSA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate certification.
• Experience with Oracle or SQL-based platforms.
• Experience with Grafana, Cribl, Power BI, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-based development.
• Experience integrating third-party software components and developing custom capabilities.
