Specialty/Senior Specialty Representative (Dermatology)

Location: Pittsburgh North, Pennsylvania, United States. Territory covers Pittsburgh North. Relocation is not offered.

Annual salary: $89,880–$121,602 for Specialty Representative or $115,949–$156,872 for Senior Specialty Representative.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary customer contact for medical professionals in the assigned territory.
• Communicate clinical product knowledge and benefits to support appropriate product utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct planned programs, coordinate medical education programs, and achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Manage customer accounts, tailor interactions to customer needs, support product access, triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
• Analyze sales activity and territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and uphold science-based and ethical sales practices.

Requirements

• Specialty Representative: bachelor's degree, or an associate degree with 4 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience.
• Senior Specialty Representative: bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales or relevant clinical experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Sales or clinical experience in healthcare or a scientific field is required for the senior-level position.
• Preferred experience includes pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, product, or hospital sales.
• Knowledge of dermatology or related specialties, local market knowledge, and established territory relationships are preferred.
• Must cover the Pittsburgh North territory; relocation is not offered.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
• Experience in dermatology, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
• Strong planning, communication, business knowledge, relationship-building, and results-oriented skills.
