Product Engineering Co-Op (Manufacturing)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; full-time onsite, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Salary: $20–$30 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Plan, execute, document, analyze, and present engineering experiments.
• Design, build, and evaluate test fixtures and manufacturing support fixtures.
• Support product development through prototype assembly, testing, and performance evaluation.
• Improve product manufacturability, measurement methods, and design robustness.
• Research emerging technologies, materials, and engineering solutions for new product development.
• Collaborate on design reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with graduation in May 2027 or later, or enrolled in a graduate program.
• Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar engineering field.
• Available to work 40 hours per week from January through June and familiar with university co-op participation requirements.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
