What you will do

• Develop safe, robust, and cost-effective processes for synthetic and hybrid drug substances.
• Collaborate with chemists, process engineers, and attribute scientists to solve technical problems.
• Support cGMP manufacturing, process characterization, and technology transfer to internal facilities and external contract manufacturers.
• Collect and interpret experimental results, provide technical updates and recommendations, and maintain project documentation.
• Support regulatory documentation and filings while following laboratory documentation practices and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of scientific experience, or an associate’s degree with 4 years of scientific experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of scientific experience.
• Prior laboratory-based research experience in bioconjugation.
• Ability to work independently in a chemistry laboratory and collaborate effectively across functions.
• Ability to collect and interpret analytical results using methods such as NMR, HPLC, MS, IR, and Raman.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning, multitasking, and project follow-through skills.

Nice to have

• M.S. in organic chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical biology with a specialization in bioconjugation chemistry.
• Bioconjugation experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
• A research summary included with the CV.
