Drayage Logistics Domestic Operator (Logistics)

Location: Santa Ana, CA, USA; onsite logistics operations with weekend shifts as required.

Compensation: $28–$31 per hour

Provides logistics and supply chain services supporting air, ocean, truckload, warehouse, and transload operations.

What you will do

• Create daily tracking reports for air export, ocean import, and over-the-road operations, including weekend activity.
• Coordinate container and air cargo departures with ports, terminals, airports, customs brokers, and terminal operators.
• Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments; validate import documentation and proof of delivery.
• Manage transload warehouse capacity, utilization, dwell time, on-time transload performance, and damage rates.
• Schedule and dispatch truckload outbound orders through a transportation management system, optimizing routes and load consolidation.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, supply chain teams, and customers while managing claims and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of logistics coordination experience focused on international air and ocean freight operations.
• Hands-on experience in air, ocean, and over-the-road freight forwarding, transload warehouse management, and truckload dispatch.
• Strong knowledge of international freight regulations, customs procedures, hazardous materials requirements, and security standards.
• Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, TMS, or WMS, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• English proficiency is required; weekend work may be required.
