Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; on-site presence may be required based on client needs, with up to 25% overnight travel throughout the US.

Salary: USD 125,000–145,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Manage technical commercial real estate projects from planning and design through construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Prepare project scopes, resource requirements, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality controls, and risk plans with clients.
• Define IT requirements and coordinate technology solutions for network, voice/data, wireless, telephony, audiovisual, security, and related infrastructure.
• Lead procurement activities, including requests for proposals, bid evaluations, and resource recommendations.
• Direct architects, engineers, vendors, and contractors while tracking progress, documentation, budgets, schedules, and variances.
• Identify project threats, implement mitigation and contingency plans, mentor project contributors, and build client consensus.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in IT construction, including network setup and design, cabling, telephony, wireless, audiovisual, security access and monitoring, and sound masking.
• Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices, with the ability to read architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project.

• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation.
