Senior Engineer Automation Quality

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States

Base salary: $87,400–$123,400 per year, plus potential bonus participation.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts and frameworks, including complex automation scenarios.
• Lead automated test execution, interpret results, and identify, document, and manage software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Build automation strategies, establish best practices, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor test and quality automation engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Develop training materials, provide automation training, perform manual testing when needed, and contribute to innovation efforts including AI.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of overall testing experience, including 2–4 years in automation testing, or equivalent automation training.
• Strong proficiency in core Java programming concepts and software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with API automation using Karate and UI automation using Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD and building pipelines.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience mentoring test automation teams.
