TL;DR
Functional Analyst (Financial Risk) (Banking/Risk): Analyzing and defining functional requirements for financial risk technology projects, translating business needs into specifications, and validating risk calculations with an accent on market risk, counterparty risk, and financial derivatives. Focus on data analysis, Python and SQL validation, and User Acceptance Testing for banking solutions.

Location: Málaga; remote within Spain time zone

What you will do

  • Analyze and define functional requirements for financial risk technology projects.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
  • Analyze data and validate risk-related calculations and implemented solutions.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in technology projects within a financial institution during the last 5 years.
  • Experience with market risk and/or counterparty risk banking projects.
  • Strong knowledge of financial derivatives products.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Python and SQL.
