Analyst, Sustainable Business & FS (FTC-12 Months)

Location: London office, hybrid with two days in the office per week; applicants must live within a commutable distance and be legally eligible to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: £32,157–£40,197 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate with external partners and internal teams to develop insights on financial-sector transition planning.
• Analyze data from hirify.global questionnaires to support collaborative research and external recommendations.
• Support sustainable finance research through project coordination, research, analysis, and webinars.
• Conduct research and contribute to position papers and other written outputs.
• Collaborate on projects across Thought Leadership, Data, Policy, and external investor initiatives.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests for insights and analysis.

Requirements

• Experience with environmental data, disclosures, or transition planning, particularly in the financial sector.
• Knowledge of environmental issues, GHG or financial accounting, and willingness to develop subject-matter expertise quickly.
• Experience with data analysis and proficiency in Excel and PowerBI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including high-standard written English and experience producing research outputs for corporate audiences.
• Understanding of corporate reporting and investor expectations relating to climate and nature-related issues.
• UK work eligibility, residence within commuting distance of London, and availability to work two days per week from the London office.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R.
• GIS proficiency.
• Experience presenting complex information in a concise and accessible way.
