Founding Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, United States. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for candidates not yet based in the US.

Base salary: $150,000–$250,000 USD annually, plus meaningful founding equity.

hirify.global is a freshly funded, solo-founded startup building infrastructure for AI-native service companies.

What you will do

• Rebuild a working product into scalable agentic infrastructure from the ground up.
• Design and operate the agent runtime, including orchestration, memory, verification, and reliability mechanisms.
• Own work across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent systems.
• Define the technical stack, engineering standards, and engineering culture.
• Ship production improvements weekly for businesses using the platform.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of production software development experience or an equivalent founder or solo-builder track record.
• Hands-on experience building and operating LLM or AI agent systems in production with real users.
• Full-stack capability across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and UI development.
• Experience turning prototypes into reliable infrastructure covering architecture, data models, runtime, and orchestration.
• Experience owning technical decisions as a founder, early hire, or solo technical lead.
• Ability to work in person in San Francisco, California.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent orchestration, agent memory, evaluation or verification systems, or multi-agent workflows.
• Strong computer science fundamentals from a rigorous academic or engineering background.
• Founder experience and generalist depth.
