Receiving Lead (Data Center Cooling Manufacturing)

Location: Dyersburg, Tennessee, United States

Builds liquid cooling and large-scale air-cooling systems for data centers, including AI and hyperscale environments, with manufacturing support from Madison Air.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily inbound shipments, unloading activities, dock schedules, and receiving workflows.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and receiving documentation.
• Inspect materials for quantity, quality, packaging condition, and compliance with company requirements.
• Process ERP receipts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support traceability, labeling, cycle counts, and audits.
• Lead, train, and support receiving personnel while coordinating with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Inventory Control, Planning, and Logistics.
• Resolve discrepancies, manage nonconforming materials, maintain safe and organized receiving areas, and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in receiving, warehousing, logistics, distribution, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience as a lead, coordinator, trainer, or informal team leader.
• Knowledge of receiving operations, inventory control, material flow, warehouse practices, shipping documents, and supplier coordination.
• Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment, with the ability to complete internal equipment certifications.
• ERP and inventory management experience, preferably Syteline CSI, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, inventory accuracy methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
