Team Leader (Production)

What you will do

• Supervise production employees during assigned shifts and coordinate operators, material handlers, maintenance, and quality activities.
• Control workflow, distribute process orders, optimize labor and equipment utilization, and maintain production schedules.
• Lead start-of-shift meetings, assign daily targets, track performance, and support hands-on floor operations.
• Promote safety, GMP, quality, sanitation, and compliance practices, including incident reporting and root cause investigations.
• Audit documentation, verify sanitation through post-cleaning swabs, reconcile labels, and complete packing and shift reports.
• Enter and confirm process orders and finished-goods locations in SAP and related spreadsheets while maintaining organized storage areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and work weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and accurately weigh ingredients using floor and bench scales.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator or PAPR when required for specific materials.
• Computer literacy, including navigating multiple systems, windows, and transactions.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• SAP knowledge and experience.
• Forklift certification or previous forklift operation experience.
• Experience identifying and recommending process improvements.
