Postdoctoral Research Associate (RNA Biology)

What you will do

• Design, optimize, troubleshoot, and perform chemical biology, sequencing, and molecular biology workflows investigating RNA–protein interactions in living cells.
• Develop and maintain reproducible experimental and computational workflows for RNA structure and RNA–protein interaction studies.
• Process and analyze high-throughput sequencing data, including the DMS-MaPseq pipeline.
• Contribute experimental results, data analysis, manuscripts, and grant applications.
• Guide and train graduate and undergraduate students in experimental design, laboratory techniques, and data interpretation.
• Present research at group meetings, seminars, workshops, and national and international conferences.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology, or a closely related field, completed or expected before the start date.
• Research experience in RNA biology, protein–nucleic acid interactions, or related molecular and cellular biology.
• Expertise in chemical biology, RNA structure probing, or next-generation sequencing library preparation.
• Familiarity with sequencing-data analysis tools and workflows, including Python, R, or bioinformatics pipelines.
• Peer-reviewed publications or preprints demonstrating research productivity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written, verbal, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.
