What you will do

• Design, plan, conduct, and coordinate wildlife management research supporting Naval Air Station Key West management goals.
• Lead on-the-ground research efforts across multiple taxa.
• Write high-quality reports for NRI, IGSA, and NASKW requirements.
• Implement research suitable for peer-reviewed publication.
• Use computer, laboratory, and technical equipment for data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation of research results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant specialty area.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to use relevant computer software and perform statistical analyses.
• Experience with wildlife handling.
• Ability to work cooperatively across groups and agencies.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. and/or DVM degree in a relevant specialty area.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong judgment, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
