Research Program Associate I (Biology)

What you will do

• Support daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, quality control, software administration, and resource management.
• Prepare, schedule, and set up research sessions, protocols, materials, and laboratory equipment.
• Assist with experiments, data collection, analysis, recordkeeping, and documentation of research findings.
• Coordinate with researchers and IT support to maintain effective laboratory operations.
• Train students and teaching assistants on laboratory procedures, protocols, and equipment use.
• Support laboratory organization and long-term operational planning.

Requirements

• High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in a research laboratory or office setting.
• Familiarity with routine laboratory procedures, safety standards, regulations, and equipment.
• Ability to accurately follow protocols and collaborate effectively in a team.
• Ability to use relevant software tools for data analysis and scientific computing.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Biology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical engineering research experience in a biological research laboratory.
• Experience with interdisciplinary research or biological systems.
