Focus on evaluating immediate safety risks, developing action plans with callers, documenting interactions accurately, and coordinating follow-up resources.
Location: Must reside in Nevada; the role is virtual full-time except for required in-person training. Training runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. PST for four weeks. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of a posting location unless an accommodation is granted.
Salary: $23.11–$36.40 per hour.

What you will do
- Answer inbound calls from individuals seeking support, services, or crisis assistance.
- Conduct safety screenings and assessments to identify the presence and acuity of risk.
- Use caller information and assessment results to understand needs and develop action plans collaboratively.
- Provide telephonic intervention and de-escalation using established protocols.
- Document interactions accurately and connect callers with appropriate services and follow-up support.
- Coordinate with agencies, organizations, and individuals to optimize available resources and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of behavioral health experience, or at least six months of direct crisis experience involving screenings and assessments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must reside in Nevada and be available for a 24-hour call-center schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to complete four weeks of Monday–Friday training from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PST.
- Knowledge of crisis screening, assessment, intervention, and de-escalation practices.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in mental health or another human services field.
- Two years of experience working directly with individuals receiving behavioral health services.
- Call center experience.
- Additional crisis experience.
