Systems Administrator (Senior-Level)

Location: Non-remote, based in Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista, Arizona, USA. A relocation incentive and reimbursement program are available.

Salary: USD 90,000–115,000 per year

What you will do

• Administer and sustain physical and virtual Windows, Linux/UNIX, Active Directory, and enterprise server environments.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, networks, and communications infrastructure.
• Manage accounts, permissions, privileged access, authentication services, and Tier II/III technical support.
• Support cybersecurity operations, including RMF requirements, security controls, vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring, ATO documentation, and incident response.
• Execute backup, recovery, contingency, and disaster recovery procedures for operational resilience.
• Maintain technical documentation, deliver briefings and reports, coordinate with government stakeholders and vendors, and support modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• 10+ years of experience administering enterprise IT systems, including Windows and/or Linux servers, virtualization, Active Directory, and networked infrastructure.
• IAT Level II certification or higher is required, such as CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP.
• A second industry-recognized certification in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware vSphere/ESXi, network management, and communications technologies.
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting DoD, Army, DISA, NETCOM, USAISEC, or other federal government environments.
• Experience with videoconferencing, VoIP, audio/visual technologies, fiber optic cabling, or communications infrastructure.
• VMware, Microsoft, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and VIP end users.
