Machine Operator Senior-2 (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing and converting machinery, including die-cutting, slitting, laminating, printing, and finishing equipment.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, perform first-line mechanical troubleshooting, and complete routine preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished products against work orders and technical specifications and perform quality tests under ISO procedures.
• Follow plant safety regulations, PPE requirements, 5S practices, and environmental guidelines.
• Manage job setups, tooling changes, and material changes to meet shift productivity targets.
• Guide and support junior operators in a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of progressive experience operating machinery and production equipment in a manufacturing or converting environment.
• Ability to read technical job orders, set up tooling, and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality control standards.
• Ability to occasionally lift, handle, or position materials weighing up to 50 lbs / 22 kg.
• Availability to work standard shift rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience with converting, finishing, web handling, packaging, laminating, die-cutting, or related machinery.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supporting machine operators as a line lead.
