Sr. Process and Quality Engineer - Machining (Manufacturing)

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico; on-site five days per week

What you will do

• Develop robust machining processes that meet process control, capability, safety, cost, quality, and implementation schedule requirements.
• Define machine specifications, approval protocols, equipment runoff, and installation requirements for capital equipment.
• Apply Six Sigma, DOE, A3, 9-Step Problem Solving, and 5-Why methods to identify root causes.
• Design or select automation tools and fixtures, define inspection processes using GD&T, and improve machining and assembly processes.
• Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, JSAs, and ergonomic studies while following EHS metrics.
• Measure and improve SQDIP indicators, including scrap, FPY, DPU, downtime, and equipment efficiency, and support Opex initiatives such as VSAs, RIEs, and Gembas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering; a relevant master’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in machining as a manufacturing, process, or quality engineer.
• Project management and team management experience.
• Strong competence in Lean Manufacturing, material flow, DMAIC, GD&T, Minitab, TPM, and AutoCAD.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
