Lead Software Engineer (Integration & Automation)

Location: Hybrid; candidates must live within close proximity to a hub in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona, and work both from home and in the office.

Salary: $107,000–$180,000 per year, plus potential yearly incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise support solutions from ideation and proof of concept through deployment, support, and enhancement.
• Design and integrate solutions across ServiceNow, Amazon Connect, chatbots, virtual agents, portals, mobile applications, and enterprise APIs.
• Drive code quality, Agile and DevOps practices, observability, reliability, and operational support across multiple platforms.
• Partner with architects, UX designers, product stakeholders, platform owners, and external delivery partners.
• Influence technical direction and engineering standards while mentoring engineers and promoting continuous improvement.
• Advance chatbot experiences, AI and Generative AI, workflow automation, and support platform modernization.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must be able to work in the hybrid model from close proximity to one of the listed U.S. hub locations.
• 5+ years of professional experience and proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, or another modern programming language.
• Experience with ServiceNow or strong web application development experience with the ability to learn the platform.
• Experience building and supporting APIs, integrations, and enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow development, workflows, portals, or Virtual Agent experience.
• Full-stack development with React or Node.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, observability tools, automation practices, and IT service management.
• Interest in applying AI and Generative AI to engineering and support experiences.
