Electronics Technician I/II (Aerospace)

Location: Toronto, Canada; on-site at hirify.global’s site

Salary: USD 50,000–60,000 per year base pay range for Ontario

What you will do

• Perform functional testing of PCAs, motor assemblies, and other electrical subassemblies.
• Debug electrical assemblies, document issues, and support root cause analysis with Engineering and Quality.
• Work with Engineering to update PCB designs and layouts for DFM and DFT improvements.
• Coordinate electronics subcontractors, purchase orders, quality concerns, schedules, and consigned inventory.
• Create and maintain documentation for electrical integration processes and subcontractor procedures.
• Manage component procurement, onboard suppliers, and resolve manufacturing issues to support on-time delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• For Electronics Technician II: 2+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• For Electronics Technician II: 1+ years of experience debugging electronic assemblies.
• Ability to work on-site for full shifts of 8+ hours, including standing, walking, climbing, and working in production and equipment areas.
• Ability to handle tools and equipment precisely and lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts as operational needs require.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, medical, or Class 3 electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of soldering, dipping, inspection, rework, IPC-610, J-STD-001, or AS9100.
• Experience with ERP systems, Eagle CAD, or Altium.
• Experience working in cleanroom or cleanbench environments with ESD-sensitive hardware.
• Strong organization, independent problem-solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
