Installments Card Product Director (Fintech)

Location: Minnetonka, MN, United States; office-based

Salary: $125,000–$255,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead the installments card business strategy, roadmap, business targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Oversee the development, launch, and implementation of new installments card products, features, and benefits.
• Build customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and test-and-learn strategies with marketing, analytics, technology, and credit risk partners.
• Manage regulatory compliance, credit policies, fraud prevention, collections, disputes, and portfolio risk frameworks.
• Oversee revenue, costs, profitability, acquisition costs, utilization, charge-offs, and other operational metrics.
• Build and mentor a product management team and manage relationships with payment networks, fintech companies, vendors, and credit bureaus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience with card or related payment products.
• 5+ years of experience working with third-party vendors supporting core payment capabilities.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, forecasting, business case development, strategic planning, project management, and tactical implementation.
• Strong knowledge of payment products, financial services, credit risk, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance in the credit card industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, executive presentation, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with BNPL or installments products and emerging consumer and business installment payment trends.
• Experience evaluating third-party capabilities, managing vendor implementations, and driving digital transformation in payments.
• Strong financial acumen and experience driving profitability, customer acquisition, and product innovation.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
