Aggregate Stop Loss Claims Auditor

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annual

What you will do

• Analyze aggregate stop-loss year-end claims, high-level reviews, and aggregate accommodation claims.
• Validate expense eligibility under aggregate stop-loss contracts, including exceptions, extra-contractual claims, and funding.
• Evaluate enrollment and calculate the correct or minimum attachment point.
• Prepare client audit reports, exhibits, and non-exhibits within established timeframes.
• Respond to appeals from third-party administrators and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Travel occasionally as needed.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience with self-funded plans and specific or aggregate claims, or reinsurance claims.
• Proficiency in Excel, including basic or advanced formulas and pivot tables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience with self-funding and stop-loss products.
• Experience reviewing or auditing aggregate stop-loss claims.
• A history of successful process-improvement initiatives.
