Platform Systems Engineer (Microsoft/VMware)

Location: Rosedale Office Building, Fort Worth, Texas; primary residence must remain in Texas throughout employment

hirify.global is a Texas-based healthcare organization with a Technology Services department supporting clinical and enterprise information systems.

What you will do

• Develop, test, maintain, install, and deploy platform technologies across data center, cloud, and user environments.
• Provide engineering and group support across Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, and Ivanti platforms.
• Administer and engineer Windows servers and desktops.
• Support capacity planning, performance management, configuration management, security, and disaster recovery.
• Research emerging technologies, make infrastructure design decisions, and contribute to private and public cloud initiatives.
• Support Epic client design and delivery while consulting with Information Services teams and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of direct IT experience; or an associate degree and 4 years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and 6 years of experience.
• Strong communication, customer service, consulting, and problem-resolution skills.
• Experience with at least two relevant IT disciplines and platform infrastructure technologies.
• One or more listed technology certifications is required, or must be obtained within six months of employment.
• Primary residence must be maintained within Texas, along with all licenses and credentials required for the position.
