Senior Technical Sales Consultant (Sales Engineer)

Location: Spain - Field; hybrid or fully remote depending on the applicant's location. Travel within the EMEA region is required up to 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for hirify.global Government Solutions and design end-to-end identity and security architectures.
• Translate customer requirements into solution blueprints covering national identity, passports, border management, biometrics, digital identity, credential issuance, and PKI.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, executive presentations, technical workshops, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technology evaluations.
• Own technical sections of RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses, including compliance reviews, assumptions, implementation approaches, sizing, and Statements of Work.
• Support opportunity strategy, competitive positioning, partner coordination, consortium development, and technical enablement.
• Mentor sales teams, create reusable technical content, and provide market feedback to Product Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of qualifications.
• At least 7 years of experience in technical pre-sales, bid management, solution consulting, or solution architecture, preferably in government services.
• Experience with government or public-sector opportunities, large-scale identity or security programs, RFPs, public procurement, and large system integrators.
• Knowledge of enterprise, cloud, hybrid, security, API-based, and systems integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of identity technologies, including national ID, passports, border systems, biometrics, digital identity, PKI, authentication, and access management.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills are required. The role requires lawful work authorization and the ability to travel within the EMEA region on demand.

Nice to have

• Project management methodology experience.
• Knowledge of PKI, two-factor authentication, biometric technologies, encryption, digital certificates, HSMs, and digital signatures.
• Experience with networking infrastructure, data protection, EUDI Wallet initiatives, passport issuance, or border and immigration systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Outlook, Salesforce, and Oracle ERP.
