Simulator Technician II (Flight Simulation)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States; work is performed at the hirify.global Training Center, in the office, on site, and in the field.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hirify.global and non-hirify.global flight simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose routine and complex simulator issues at component and system levels.
• Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks, visual alignments, and Qualification Test Guide evaluations.
• Document maintenance activities, coordinate repairs, receive parts, and conduct testing and validation.
• Support simulator refurbishment projects, hardware modifications, customer needs, and simulator housekeeping.
• Train technicians in foundational technical skills and complete ongoing technical development.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent related technical training.
• At least 2 years of direct simulator experience or 4 years of related experience in electronics, avionics, automated systems, computer networking, troubleshooting, or repair.
• Experience with schematics, electronic diagnostic tools, electronic test equipment, soldering, and circuit board repair.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Customer-service orientation, attention to detail, and ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex simulator maintenance, QTG evaluation, computerized maintenance management systems, and quality management systems.
• Experience training or mentoring technicians.
• Experience supporting refurbishment, hardware modifications, testing, and validation.
