provides engineering and testing support for the RTC Test and Engineering Services contract supporting the Army Division.
What you will do
- Construct and test cables and wiring harnesses from engineering drawings.
- Test cables, wiring harnesses, populated printed circuit boards, receivers, and transmitters using general and specialized equipment.
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot TM/FTS kits.
- Integrate TM/FTS kits into missiles before test missions.
- Support engineering, design, and hardware testing activities with approximately 15% travel.
Requirements
- Seven years of applicable experience in engineering, design, or hardware testing, or a combination of education and experience.
- For instrumentation specialization: 16 weeks of civilian or military training in electronics or basic instrumentation techniques and at least four years of electronics or instrumentation experience supporting military hardware engineering or testing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and hold a valid driver's license.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
