Head of Finance

What you will do

• Own company-wide financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Establish internal controls, policies, and procedures appropriate for a private-equity-backed environment.
• Prepare board-level financial packages, KPIs, investor reporting, and dashboards covering profitability, utilization, and cash flow.
• Lead financial aspects of post-merger integration, including systems consolidation, reporting alignment, process standardization, and purchase accounting.
• Lead or support ERP implementation and financial systems transformation for scalable professional services reporting.
• Manage audits, auditors, advisors, contracts, external counsel coordination, and strategic finance initiatives with executive leadership and Superstep Capital.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Audit experience and hands-on experience with ERP implementation and financial systems transformation.
• Experience supporting M&A and post-close integration, as well as board or investor reporting.
• Strong communication, judgment, and flexibility in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• CPA qualification.
• Experience in a private-equity-backed environment or professional services.
• Experience managing a legal function.
