Director of Accounting (SaaS)

hirify.global acquires vertical software businesses and rebuilds their products, operations, and go-to-market around AI, while launching new AI-native products through its Venture Lab.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of controllers, accountants, financial analysts, CPAs, and finance professionals.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting.
• Oversee post-acquisition financial integration, including intangible asset valuation and purchase accounting.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial statements and KPIs for assigned business units.
• Lead accounting system implementations, workflow improvements, and annual audit support.
• Advise on complex accounting matters, including IFRS 15 revenue recognition and multi-element contract analysis.

Requirements

• CPA designation or an internationally recognized accounting certification such as CA or ACCA.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years as a controller.
• Experience mentoring teams and collaborating across departments in matrix environments.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS compliance, accounting operations, and strategic financial oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
• Accounting experience in the SaaS or technology industry, or at a top-tier public accounting firm.
• Hands-on experience with mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS revenue recognition standards for software businesses.
