Cybersecurity Engineer

Location: US - Austin, TX; at least 3 days in the office are required

Salary: $123,700–$191,300 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility

What you will do

• Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and threat analysis across diverse technology environments.
• Design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions.
• Architect security solutions for cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Promote secure coding, DevSecOps, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
• Implement data protection, privacy engineering, compliance controls, and automated security tools.
• Plan and execute incident response activities while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Experience designing IAM solutions and implementing secure application development practices.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid security architectures, data protection, and privacy engineering.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response, automation, and secure SDLC principles.
• Ability to work in an office setting in Austin, TX at least 3 days per week; travel is required 5–10% of the time.
