TL;DR

Location: Field-based in Boise, Idaho, supporting a territory covering all of Idaho and Montana, eastern Washington, and eastern Oregon. Candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it.

Salary: $98,000–$178,250 base pay per year.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics and achieve territory sales quotas.
  • Provide clinical product information and support based on knowledge of efficacy, technical details, and health economics.
  • Analyze the territory, prospect for new business, identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, and develop account strategies with the District Manager.
  • Prepare customer-specific pre- and post-call plans and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials.
  • Build customer relationships, influence healthcare decision-makers, and collaborate with Innovative Medicine colleagues.
  • Track reimbursement, managed care, specialty pharmacy, treatment protocols, compliance, reporting, training, and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience.
  • At least two years of direct pharmaceutical or biologic/biotech selling experience with documented sales results, or relevant clinical experience.
  • Experience with hospital and large-account sales, complex reimbursement, and managed care dynamics.
  • Strong relationship-building, account planning, decision-maker identification, and goal achievement skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel including overnights or weekends, and residence in or relocation to the assigned geography.

Nice to have

  • Solid tumor, urology, or rare disease specialty sales experience.
  • Understanding of the oncology market.
  • Previous product launch experience in a highly competitive environment.
  • Interest in learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
