Metrology Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Toulouse, France; on-site work involving equipment handling and shopfloor coordination.

What you will do

• Manage the physical and system flows of metrology-controlled equipment within the Metrology Hub.
• Handle urgent tooling requests for Final Assembly Lines within a strict two-hour window.
• Create and maintain equipment records, metrology notices, and work orders for calibration and maintenance.
• Receive equipment, verify markings, process loans and transfers, and dispatch tools to laboratories or maintenance.
• Coordinate directly with Metrology Referents, calibration laboratories, and shopfloor teams.

Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience in tooling management, industrial logistics, or metrology.
• Experience with SAP, ServiceNow, and Google Workspace.
• Understanding of metrology procedures, calibration cycles, and tooling quality requirements.
• Ability to work a 2x9 shift schedule.
• Operational rigor, analytical skills, and proactive teamwork.
