AIT Test Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Delft, South Holland, Netherlands

Develops sustainable space transportation systems focused on in-space propulsion, satellite servicing, and reusable spaceplane technology.

What you will do

• Execute leak, pressure, environmental, and hot-fire tests on satellite propulsion hardware.
• Prepare and perform component- and subsystem-level hardware tests independently or with AIT team support.
• Operate test setups and measurement equipment, including pressure gauges and related instrumentation.
• Complete test reports and analyze test data.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality to maintain accurate and complete production data.

Requirements

• Experience with pressurized systems and pressure-testing equipment, including fluidic or hydraulic systems and pressure regulators.
• Experience using basic measurement tools such as multimeters and pressure gauges.
• Ability to read and follow test procedures and enforce basic safety procedures.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, adapting quickly to change.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with propulsion subsystems, satellite subsystems, aircraft assembly or maintenance, or other high-tech fields.
• Experience working in cleanrooms or other controlled environments.
• Experience working in geographically distributed teams.
