Maintenance Planner / Scheduler (Manufacturing)

Location: Brantford, Ontario, Canada; onsite manufacturing role. Full-time core office hours with availability for occasional nights, weekends, off-shifts, and extended shifts.

Salary: CAD 67,600–88,700 per year, plus potential incentives, profit sharing, and benefits.

What you will do

• Plan predictive, preventive, and condition-based maintenance in coordination with production plans and available mechanics, operators, parts, and equipment.
• Coordinate contractors, verify safety compliance, and maintain contractor records in the ISN management system.
• Manage maintenance system data, work-order notifications, backlog scheduling, and mechanic data quality.
• Support equipment modifications, improvements, commissioning, and maintenance-related continuous improvement projects.
• Generate KPI, trend analysis, and maintenance performance reports.
• Monitor stockroom inventories and reorder points.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; consumer goods manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Technical certification, associate degree, or college diploma in mechanical engineering technology, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment, and electrical systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work off-shifts, weekends, and 10- or 12-hour extended shifts when required.
• This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and experience in GMP manufacturing.
• Experience with maintenance improvement methodologies, technical equipment start-ups, or production-line commissioning.
• Understanding of costing guidelines and finance and accounting principles.
