Co-op, R&D Electronics Engineering (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid in Acton, Massachusetts; transportation to the Acton office is required. The position runs from January 11, 2027, through June 30, 2027. U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship is required.

Salary: $25.00–$34.00 annual base salary range for U.S.-based positions, with possible incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
• Use laboratory equipment to identify bugs, troubleshoot devices, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support the design and development of a low-power, battery-operated insulin delivery device.
• Design test procedures, conduct custom testing, and analyze data for component qualifications and design improvements.
• Create protocols, reports, and design history file documentation while supporting team alignment and approvals.
• Assist with or lead Engineering Change Orders.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar field.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with laboratory equipment.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong documentation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
