General Manager - Mission Critical/Data Center - Michels Underground Cable, Inc (Underground Cable)

Location: Milwaukee, WI; St. Louis, MO; or Waco, TX. Travel to project sites across the US is required approximately 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Plan and oversee regional operations for safe and profitable delivery.
• Set strategic goals with the President and coordinate execution with Regional and Project Managers.
• Support data center and mission-critical projects involving medium-voltage duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.
• Manage project success, regional profitability, client relationships, and industry networking.
• Promote a safety-focused operating culture across the region.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with medium-voltage duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or HCSS.
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US.
• Valid driver license for the vehicles operated and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced licenses or certifications.
