Industrial Engineer I (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote role associated with Raleigh, North Carolina, USA; travel up to 25% is required, mostly domestic

What you will do

• Develop discrete-event, process, continuous, and spreadsheet-based simulations.
• Perform data analytics, data modeling, and operational analysis.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Contribute to supply chain management, schedule planning, and production planning.
• Execute tasks across multiple client projects in collaboration with senior industrial engineering staff and Project Leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Experience or familiarity with Excel-based macros and discrete-event or process simulation tools.
• Coding experience or familiarity with a formal programming language.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, mostly domestically, for client development and project execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial process projects.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience with SAS, SPSS, or similar data-modeling tools.
