Construction Quality Assurance Testing Technician (WAQTC/ACI)

Location: Wenatchee, Washington, USA; onsite construction inspection and material testing

Salary: $22–34 per hour, depending on qualifications

What you will do

• Perform construction material testing and inspect materials for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review approved construction drawings, contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Communicate inspection findings with contractors, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Write concise inspection reports using language related to contract documents, drawings, and codes.
• Coordinate inspection observations, scheduling, and sample pickup with the AAR office.
• Complete quality records and support contractor compliance with specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• ACI, Nuclear Gauge, and WAQTC certifications are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage a detail-oriented, multi-task workload.

Nice to have

• WDOT, WABO, ICC, or other construction-related certifications.
• Additional certifications for in-field material testing.
• Previous construction inspection experience.
