Construction Quality Assurance Testing Technician (WAQTC/ACI)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; field-based construction inspection and material testing duties.

Salary: $22–34 per hour, depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Perform construction quality assurance inspections and material testing.
• Review approved construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, and applicable codes.
• Verify materials and contractor work for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Communicate inspection findings with contractors, foremen, superintendents, project managers, building inspectors, and the office.
• Write concise inspection reports and accurately complete quality records.
• Coordinate inspection scheduling and sample pickups and pursue additional in-field testing certifications.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous construction industry experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Nice to have

• ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, or WAQTC certification.
