Sr. Engineering Manager (Kubernetes/Crossplane)

What you will do

• Lead the Control Planes & Ecosystem Group across Crossplane, hirify.global Crossplane, Marketplace, providers, extensions, and partner integrations.
• Define the long-term strategy for hosted control planes, ecosystem extensibility, APIs, SDKs, and customer-facing platform experiences.
• Drive reliability, scalability, production excellence, uptime SLAs, and predictable delivery across control plane products.
• Grow the provider and partner ecosystem, enabling customers and partners to build on hirify.global control planes.
• Lead managers and managers-of-managers while scaling engineering organization structure and technical execution.
• Partner with Product, GTM, Alliances, and Customer Success to translate enterprise needs into scalable capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including leadership of managers-of-managers.
• 5+ years building or scaling cloud-native, infrastructure, or platform engineering products.
• Deep familiarity with Kubernetes and the Cloud Native ecosystem.
• Experience building SaaS control planes or distributed systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, declarative systems, and extensibility frameworks.
• Proven experience delivering reliable production services and growing ecosystem-driven products such as marketplaces, providers, plugins, or integrations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crossplane or Kubernetes.
• Background in platform engineering or internal developer platforms.
• Experience building multi-tenant control plane architectures.
• Startup experience in high-growth infrastructure companies.
