IT Business Analyst II

Location: On-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States; occasional overnight travel may be required.

What you will do

• Research, design, test, and document business and information systems processes.
• Identify requirements, stakeholders, process owners, and business, technical, product, and process needs.
• Work with business customers to define project specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare ROI analyses, manage scope and expectations, and lead small to medium-sized projects.
• Support applications after implementation through training, reporting, and daily troubleshooting.
• Lead small groups in resolving systems conversion and application implementation problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or Science.
• At least 3 years of progressive analysis or systems experience in a mid- to large-scale computing environment.
• Understanding of client/server and web architectures, object-oriented technologies, internet applications, and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and experience writing SQL queries.
• Strong project management, communication, organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics, payroll, and financial processing.
