Trade Operations Associate (Crypto)

Location: New York City, NY

Salary: $109,000–$135,000 base pay, plus performance-linked bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Handle counterparty settlement requests within agreed timeframes and serve as the point of contact for a portfolio of counterparties.
• Coordinate with Trading Desk, Product, Customer Success, Treasury Management, Compliance, Risk, and Accounting teams.
• Process and monitor trades, transfers, settlement, lending and borrowing activity, and inventory needs.
• Reconcile data across internal subsystems and external systems, including banks and custodians.
• Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks while maintaining data integrity and timely trade and settlement reporting.
• Improve reconciliation processes, strengthen controls, and identify gaps in operational coverage.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience at a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience with derivatives, spot, and/or credit products.
• Strong self-management, organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Interest in becoming an expert in digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
