Systems Engineer – Hybrid Cloud & Storage

Location: On-site or operational support at designated facilities in Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; Ogden, UT; Richmond, VA; or Tracy, CA

What you will do

• Provision, configure, operate, and maintain enterprise systems hardware, software, cloud platforms, and storage infrastructure.
• Monitor and validate data restore, disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity capabilities across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Architect and administer storage arrays, Fibre Channel fabrics, SAN, NAS, backup, and recovery platforms.
• Improve high availability, resiliency, capacity, and performance across critical cloud workloads and tiered storage environments.
• Troubleshoot hybrid connectivity, storage degradation, and system anomalies while performing health checks and preventative maintenance.
• Produce technical specifications, architecture documentation, operational procedures, reports, and recommendations for modernization.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance required, including IT-I / Critical-Sensitive determination and Tier 5 SSBI investigation.
• U.S. work authorization required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
• DoD-approved 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP.
• At least one required computing environment certification, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, NetApp certifications, or Cohesity certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience; at least five years of systems engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud storage, AWS and/or Azure, SAN management, Fibre Channel, backup and restore toolsets, and DoD or military IT systems.
