Information Technology Subject Matter Expert – Storage & Data Protection

What you will do

• Serve as key personnel and technical advisor for enterprise storage, backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery architecture.
• Design and maintain risk assessment frameworks, disaster recovery runbooks, failover validation methods, and contingency planning tools.
• Lead the architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, Brocade Fibre Channel, and hybrid cloud storage environments.
• Oversee Cohesity DataProtect, Veritas NetBackup, AWS, Azure, and OCI data protection, backup, and restore operations.
• Implement ransomware mitigation, immutability, encryption, DISA STIG, and IAVA controls for audit readiness.
• Automate provisioning, capacity forecasting, and backup policy enforcement while troubleshooting escalated storage, fabric, and backup issues.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance is required, with IT-I / Critical-Sensitive and Tier 5 SSBI investigation requirements.
• US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification and at least one relevant computing environment certification are required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of progressive enterprise IT engineering experience, including SAN/NAS administration, storage arrays, backup platforms, cloud storage, and DoD or federal environments.
• At least two years in a technical lead or advisory role, plus scripting, automation, Windows Server, RHEL, MPIO, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL experience.
