Business Intelligence Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Sigma dashboards and workbooks for embedded in-product reporting and analytics.
• Develop tested dbt models and SQL transformations that convert raw data into reliable, documented reporting datasets.
• Partner with internal teams and customer-facing stakeholders to define reporting needs and metrics.
• Establish consistent naming conventions and shared semantic and metrics layers.
• Monitor replication and orchestrated pipelines, investigate data issues, and add upstream quality checks.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational data modeling.
• Experience building trusted dashboards and reports with a modern BI tool such as Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Mode.
• Production experience developing data transformations, ideally with dbt.
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and translate ambiguous questions into clear reporting.
• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow as an engineer.
