Principal IT Analyst (Veeva RIM)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid role

Salary: $121,000–$162,000 base compensation per year

What you will do

• Design, build, implement, maintain, and optimize Veeva Vault RIM, including complex enhancements, releases, and additional modules.
• Translate business requirements into functional and solution specifications, assess configuration impacts and dependencies, and support the strategic application roadmap.
• Design and implement system, data, and application integrations, including data extraction and imports for mergers and divestitures.
• Coordinate internal and external technical resources across analysis, configuration, development, testing, and deployment.
• Test applications and releases, investigate root causes, recommend enhancements, and support evolving business and application services.
• Research emerging technologies, including AI, and advise IT and business stakeholders on technology trends and best practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years of Veeva RIM administration and service delivery.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• Expert knowledge of RIM platforms and industry best practices, preferably with relevant certifications.
• Experience with data analytics, reporting, and dashboarding using advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools.
• Experience in user and application support, incident and change management, and familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with business leaders, subject matter experts, IT architects, and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with SLA management.
• Understanding of middleware, SFTP, Single Sign-On, and enterprise architecture concepts.
