Salary: $130K–$160K per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own video production from concept and scripting through filming, editing, and publishing.
• Develop repeatable video series and original formats covering the product, customers, people, culture, and AI.
• Produce product launches, customer stories, case studies, technical explainers, demos, interviews, and educational developer content.
• Capture company life through employee profiles, founder content, office moments, off-sites, conferences, and industry events.
• Create channel-specific edits for YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and paid campaigns, including motion graphics and animation where useful.
• Build production workflows, equipment recommendations, asset organization, and external support processes for a high-output video function.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of work personally produced, filmed, and edited, with a clear explanation of the role in each project.
• Excellent storytelling instincts and strong attention to framing, sound, pacing, design, and final-edit quality.
• Ability to direct non-professional on-camera talent and make technical ideas clear and engaging.
• Full ownership of ideation, scheduling, production, and post-production.
• Deep curiosity about AI and technology, including emerging tools for animation, asset generation, editing, and production.
• Ability to work on-site in the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience as the sole or first video hire at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Multidisciplinary experience across video, photography, design, journalism, writing, or social content.
• Background in media, YouTube, digital publications, newsrooms, documentary production, or creator-led channels.
• Experience producing content for technical, developer, or B2B audiences and filming customer interviews or events.
• Experience building or growing a social or YouTube channel.
